The resort has a beautifully renovated hotel and is populated with an abundance of villas available for rent. If you are traveling with several families, a golf group, or just a group of friends, a villa is an excellent way to enjoy this resort.

There is good shopping in the Marina area along with several restaurants and a very well stocked grocery store.  It’s a short ride to the beautiful beach area on the property. La Romana and it's airport are fifteen minutes away by cab.

A nice side trip is a visit to the cobblestone Altos de Chavon Village overlooking the Chavon river some 200 feet above. The view is very dramatic and you can see a few holes of the Dye Fore course from there.  There is a large re-creation of an ancient amphitheater there that is used for concerts and events.
