Travel isn't about just checking off a destination and moving on to the next one. It's about collecting experience, and returning from your journey feeling transformed. It's the transformative aspect of travel that I have always loved, and what has kept me in the industry for the last fifteen years! When I meet with my clients, I always start by listening to where they've traveled already, what they liked and didn't like about a destination or resort, and what they're dreaming of next. I feel it is important to treat each client, and even each new adventure, with a fresh and unique perspective because client preferences are always changing as they discover new things that they love and as their needs change.
When my kids were young, our family took a lot of beach vacations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii because there was always enough activity to keep us busy, other kids to socialize with and something for everyone to enjoy. We tended to stay at all-inclusive resorts because they are a great value for families, and took trips around school schedules. I love Dreams Resorts for families because of the great food and service. Now that my kids are grown, my priorities have changed, and I am looking to do more adult things like River Cruises, and to travel to more exotic destinations like Iceland, Thailand, and Peru! In addition to Costa Rica, Aruba, and Mexico, I have been to Hawaii 5 times and plan to go again this summer. I have family in Germany so I have traveled there many times. If I haven't personally been somewhere, chances are someone in our agency, or in our travel network Signature, has and I can draw on their experience and expertise to guide my clients.
